ProBio joins BARDA’s BioMaP-Consortium, supporting the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority in strengthening the nation’s drug and vaccine manufacturing capabilities
We’re proud to announce that ProBio has joined the BioMaP-Consortium (Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Preparedness Consortium), a network of innovative organizations working with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to strengthen U.S. biopharmaceutical manufacturing preparedness and resilience.
Through this collaboration, ProBio will contribute to efforts to expand the nation’s industrial and biomanufacturing capacity for medical countermeasures and help build a more resilient, flexible supply chain capable of responding rapidly to future public health emergencies and health security threats.
The BioMaP-Consortium brings together public- and private-sector partners to strengthen the capabilities needed to develop and manufacture medical countermeasures—including products that help diagnose, prevent, and treat diseases associated with chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.
As the United States works to address critical medicine shortages and evolving health security challenges, ProBio is committed to supporting a stronger domestic biomanufacturing ecosystem. Through collaboration with consortium partners, we look forward to helping advance manufacturing capabilities, strengthen supply chain resilience, and accelerate innovation that can enable faster, more reliable access to critical medicines when they are needed most.

The Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Preparedness Consortium (BioMaP-Consortium), established by the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) and managed by Advanced Technology International (ATI), is a U.S. Government-supported network that serves as a shared resource for preparedness and response efforts across federal agencies. The Consortium brings together organizations from across the drug and vaccine manufacturing ecosystem, including manufacturers, suppliers of raw materials and consumables, developers of innovative manufacturing technologies, research institutions, and providers of fill-finish services.
The BioMaP-Consortium connects organizations with relevant capabilities to support U.S. public health preparedness. The Consortium provides a structure for organizations to:
